Overview
This Cookies Policy explains how dCorps uses cookies and similar technologies on this website and any related services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).
Plain-language note. The Services aim to use minimal cookies. We load Google Analytics in consent mode: analytics cookies stay off by default and are only enabled if you opt in. We may also use similar technologies (such as localStorage) to remember basic preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and SDKs. Cookies and similar technologies can be:
Session. Deleted when you close your browser. Persistent. Stored longer.
First-party. Set by the site you visit. Third-party. Set by another domain.
Categories of cookies and similar technologies
Strictly necessary (essential)
These are required for the Services to function (for example basic navigation, security features). If we use essential cookies, they may be set without consent where permitted by law.
Functional / preferences
These remember choices you make (for example language, UI settings). The current website uses localStorage to store basic preferences (for example sound or UI acknowledgements).
Analytics
Analytics cookies help understand how people use the Services so we can improve performance and content. We use Google Analytics 4 in consent mode to measure site usage and performance. The analytics tag may load, but analytics storage is denied by default and only enabled if you opt in through the cookie banner or settings. If you do not consent, analytics cookies are not set and Google only receives limited, cookieless signals.
Advertising / targeting
Advertising cookies track users across websites to deliver targeted ads. The Services are not intended to use advertising cookies.
Third-party cookies and embedded content
Some third-party resources (for example CDNs that serve fonts, icons, or libraries) may set cookies or collect device/network data as part of providing their services. Google Analytics may only set cookies after you opt in; without consent it receives limited, cookieless signals. Third-party cookie behavior is governed by those third parties’ policies.
Managing cookies and preferences
Browser controls
Most browsers let you:
View and delete cookies.
Block all cookies or block third-party cookies.
Configure per-site settings.
If you block essential cookies, parts of the Services may not work.
Withdrawing consent (where applicable)
Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, you can withdraw consent by changing your browser settings or using the on-site Cookie settings controls (available in the footer and the banner).
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Because there is no uniform standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Services may not respond to DNT signals.
Updates
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page.
